PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
This tour involves some physical activity outside of our daily walking tours. We will do our best to accommodate all physical needs, however, please ensure that you are physically able to participate in those activities without complaint, if not then this may not be the best trip for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore highly recommended. Your premium is related to your trip cost, so you don’t have to worry about being over-insured. Our suggested Travel Insurance providers are outlined below:
Payments & Payment Plans
All payments to Adventure in Black are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.
A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.
COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
US travelers visiting Australia are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test).
In simple terms, is not necessary anymore to show a certificate in order to catch a flight to Australia.
PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE
Check if you need to update your passport, your expiration date needs to be more than 6 months from the date of the trip

FLIGHT
All domestic flights are included in the package price. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to purchase their international airfare.
We recommend you book your flight to Melbourne Airport (MEL) as early as possible, arrival time should be between 12:00 - 3:00 PM on February 4, 2024.
You will book your departure flight from Sydney Airport (SYD), anytime on or after February 15, 2024.

MONEY/CURRENCY:
Australia’s national currency is the Australian dollar (AUD) which comes in polymer (plastic) notes of $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100.
Credit and Debit cards are generally accepted in most places, with the exception of Discover credit cards. ATMs are also available throughout Australia.
Before traveling to Australia, be sure to contact your bank and inform them that you will be traveling to avoid frozen or limited access to your funds.
NOTES:
Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. In order to participate in this experience, you must have a valid passport with an expiration date no SOONER than August 15, 2024.
