Miss Black DC Coronation Ceremony

The Miss Black DC 2020 Coronation Ceremony & Charity Fundraiser is a night of elegance and service. Come join us at this red carpet event and meet Washington’s most enterprising professionals and highly-recognized city officials in highlighting the achievements of this year’s Queen--Amini Bonane. Reigning Miss Black DC, Jessica Stamp, will lead in the crowning of this diligent scholar and active social entrepreneur whose talents extend beyond the classroom and directly into her community. Bonane will use this venue to publicly announce the scholarship and advocacy goals she envisions completing during her reign. With a fundraising goal of $10,000, all proceeds from the event will go to the charity germane to Bonane’s lasting vision of enacting change. Performances by local artists will showcase some of the talent currently defining the area. There are many ways to start Black History Month.
