Today, we're headed to Palenque. Founded by the legendary Benkos Biohó – a king-turned-slave who broke free and said "not today" to his captors in 1599. Today's all you! Glide through through the streets of Cartagena with an evening horse carriage ride. Catch sunset vibes at Cafe del Mar, or bar hop at some of the most amazing spots in town. For shopping? Hit up La Serrezuela, the city's crown jewel mall. Whether you're chilling at the hotel or painting the town, make today's vibe uniquely yours.

After breakfast, we're off to Cholon, the iconic party island! Dive, snorkel, or just bask in the sunlit vibes. Next, we'll drift to the serene Rosario Islands for a different taste of paradise. Onboard, it’s a liquid celebration with drinks from mojitos to rum punch! After returning to the hotel and freshening up, our day crescendos with a grand farewell dinner in Getsemani at the Convention Center – a spot where food meets enchanting views. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • As of May 1, 2022, visitors to Colombia ages 18 or older must provide proof of complete vaccination for entry or a negative COVID test (48 hours in advance of travel for an antigen test or 72 hours in advance of travel for a PCR test).

  • Travelers should be prepared to show their original, physical vaccination card or digital certificate both at airline check-in and when passing through Colombian Immigration.

  • The vaccination document must include the individual’s full name, date of vaccination, name of the vaccine administered, and the number of doses administered.

  • A photo of one’s vaccination card may not be accepted. If you completed your vaccination scheme within 14 days before entry to Colombia you will also need to have an antigen test 48 hours prior to arrival or a PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival in Colombia.

PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE:

  • Travelers must complete Migración Colombia’s online Check-Mig form within 72 hours of boarding an inbound or outbound flight from Colombia.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore highly recommended. Your premium is related to your trip cost, so you don’t have to worry about being over-insured. We recommend the Travel Insurance providers outlined below:

Physical Activities:

This journey includes daily walking tours on potentially unpaved paths, common in many areas of Cartagena. We will do our best to accommodate all physical needs, however, please ensure that you are physically able to participate in those activities without complaint, if not then this may not be the best trip for you.

Payments & Payment Plans:

All payments to Adventure in Black are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.

Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.

A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.

Notes:

Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. If you are a non-US Citizen in order to participate in this experience, you must have a valid passport with an expiration date no SOONER than December 20, 2024.
