TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore highly recommended. Your premium is related to your trip cost, so you don’t have to worry about being over-insured. Our suggested Travel Insurance providers are outlined below:
MONEY/CURRENCY
The Euro (€) is the main currency of Spain. One Euro is made up of 100 cents, and there are eight different coins (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 cents, and 1 and 2 Euros), and seven notes (5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 Euros)
In Spain, you can pay in cash in almost all cases, and usually, only Euros are accepted. In some cases, if the payment is made through a machine, it may be necessary to pay by card.
The option to pay with credit and debit cards, mainly Visa and Mastercard, is very widespread. However, a minimum consumption of around €10 may be required for payment by card and this may be subject to commissions depending on the conditions of your card.
When making payments, it is not acceptable to haggle over the marked price
Payments & Payment Plans
All payments to Adventure in Black are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.
A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.
COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Passengers traveling to Egypt are not required to take a COVID-19 test to fly to Spain.
PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE
Check if you need to update your passport, your expiration date needs to be more than 3 months from the date of the trip

FLIGHT
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to purchase their international airfare.
We recommend you book your flight to Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) as early as possible, arrival time should be no later than 5:30 PM on July 1, 2024.
You will book your departure flight from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN), anytime on or after July 8, 2024.

THIS TRIP IS NOT FOR YOU IF…
You don’t like cultural immersions or do not want to learn Spanish at a higher level
You have a tendency to be negative or dramatic or are just plain depressing to be around (#PositiveVibesOnly)
You are not into trying new things or stepping outside of your comfort zone
You don’t play well with others. This is a group experience with lots of interaction with one another. While participation is not required for every activity, its highly encouraged.
NOTES:
Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. In order to participate in this experience, you must have a valid passport with an expiration date no SOONER than December 8, 2024.
